Sumptuous Summer Fruit

Blueberries!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Home grown organic blackberries!
We have found that the old fashioned berries that have thorns,
taste much better than the thornless varieties.
A late freeze cut our bounty by half.
It is getting to the end of Blackberry season…
….but what a treasure hunt!
Happy eating!
Fresh, home grown, organic peaches.
The harvest wasn't bountiful this year.
A very wet Spring, couldn't spray for the brown rot problem. =(
Some of our Soap....want Some?
~ Eight of our basic soaps ~
(check back this fall for some of our more popular kinds -
just in time for holiday gifts!)
~Goat's milk, Oatmeal, Lemon Poppyseed, Baking Soda,
Old Fashioned Sulphur, E.M. Soap,
Refreshing Mint and American Castile~
Right now we have: Goat's milk, Oatmeal, Baking Soda, Old Fashioned Sulphur, E.M. Soap, American Castile (vegetarian), Refreshing Mint and Lemon Poppyseed (this is a scurbby soap with poppyseeds and corn grits). Only the Lemon Poppyseed and Refreshing Mint have any essential oils for fragrance, but it's very faint. The others all just smell like the ingredients we use - no added scents. These are all made with tallow, coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran oil, castor oil and avocado oil. All very good for the skin, mild and moisturizing.
Later in the year we'll have more to choose from. Like, we make a Barbershop Quartet that smells similar to Bay Rum and we'll have some floral scented ones as well as orange. Most of them only use natural essential oils, there is one exception, the Barbershop Quartet uses a little fragrance oil as well as the essential oils.
We charge $3 per bar (except the EM - it's $4), they are usually around 3-4 ounces and very long lasting if you don't let them it in a puddle! If we mail the order we just charge the actual shipping cost plus $1.
