We used our own recipe for the filling...we like the spice ratio we've used for years:
1 & 1/4 t. Cinnamon
1 & 1/4 t. Nutmeg
(no allspice)

Notice that it calls for 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Sugar and 1 1/2 TEASPOONS of salt.
